Call Of Duty: Ghosts Review

While First Person shooters in recent years reaches the end of a generation and the beginning next one with a somewhat loose campaign thats without any major innovations, yet multiplayer remains as addictive as ever.

We believe that all those who already liked the zombie mode will also you will love this extinction, they even seem better thought out and designed, though less surprising and fresh, and not have all the details, surprises and curiosities that do have the Treyarch zombies. The only but that we see Extinction is that there is only one map available , which seems very poor, and that smells kilometers downloadable paid content in the form of maps for this mode.

Mode Platoons have to create an army of soldiers -bots- and compete in different modes against AI controlled enemies, and if you play connected get experience points that you can use in multiplayer. There are four modes: Assault squad you can invite up to five friends and cooperate in a platoon to bite another controlled by the AI ; in platoon against platoon you can face the firing another real player, and similar range level and in various game modes war game , in which you can play alone or cooperate with up to five friends against bots firing; and Safeguard , an entertaining horde mode where a group of four soldiers have to fight against waves of enemies.

This Platoons mode can be understood as a complex and elaborate training can come in handy for many players before entering the sometimes hostile way online mode , and also a way to replicate the experience of multiplayer without having to be connected to the internet, playing with bots. Many insurance players who see no interest, but adds value to the product and is an addition that is not bad, designed for the most inexperienced players, or those who do not enjoy playing online.

Multiplayer, the great star of the show

And as has already occurring several years, the online multiplayer is the most important and successful part of the Call of Duty, and certainly supporting the product and continues to make this a highly recommended game action, with a proposal that if you connect, you’ll have fun for many hours during the year, practically become an electronic sport. Like other aspects of the game, the multiplayer Ghosts do not have too new to the naked eye, although quite interesting if we delve a bit into it, and the left against the way some of the additions from previous years, as the movie mode or modes such interesting games like Hot Zone, which we enjoyed last year.

It has given great importance to customization , and not think only one class, but also a soldier, choosing the head, body type, the headgear and accessories, and you can even create a female soldier first time in the series. The system of perks or benefits come again renovated , now every advantage has a value of between 1 and 5 and you have 8 points to allocate. For example, you can choose 4 benefits worth 2 points each, or 8 Advantages of 1 point each, and you can also choose your weapon and get rid of secondary equipment and get up to 11 advantage. We have quite liked this new system advantages, intuitive and simple, although deep does not change things too much.

There are new spells of low -at classic style, they are no longer points and Black Ops II, they feel like other minor changes seen in previous installments mostly showing little imagination, except in the case of the streak with you can call the dog Riley, who will arouse much interest . If the single-player campaign this dog seems a little “cheto” able to kill enemy soldiers with a single bite, being invulnerable to explosions and toxic fumes unbreathable to humans, multiplayer something happens, and is a little joke with just how to touch you with their feet can kill you. It is a relatively easy draw streak with five deaths, and very bloody, the dog moves very fast and almost kills you look at you, it will certainly create controversy, and a good laugh.

Good

  • Nice additions to Multiplayer that breathes new air to the franchise
  • Team focus modes are well designed
  • Extiction mode is well made

Bad

  • Some maps are a bit complex
  • Graphics could be improved more on next-gen consoles

Great

As far as I can remember, I've been surrounded by technology. My father bought us a Commodore 64 so I started playing games as a baby, following my passion with Amiga 500, then PC and so on. I love game related collectibles, and when I'm not collecting I review games, watch movies and TV Shows or you may catch me keeping a low profile at Game Events.
