PlayStation put a date and a dollar figure on Pulse Elevate. The wireless desktop speakers launch November 12 at $219.99. Pre-orders open September 1 at 7:00am PT (10:00am ET) on PlayStation Direct and at participating retailers.
These are Sony Interactive Entertainment’s first speakers, not a rebadge of a living-room soundbar. Midnight Black is the global color. White stays on Direct in the US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, plus select retailers elsewhere, while supplies last.
Each speaker packs a planar magnetic driver and its own woofer. On PS5, supported games can use Tempest 3D AudioTech. PlayStation Link is the low-latency, lossless hop to a PS5, PC, Mac, or PlayStation Portal, and a USB-C PlayStation Link adapter is in the box. Bluetooth is still there if you want a phone or a TV in the mix, and both connections can run at once, which is the useful trick: game audio on Link, a call or a playlist on Bluetooth.
The right speaker has a built-in mic with AI noise rejection, so voice chat does not require a headset. Charging docks come with the pair. You can tilt each speaker, mute from the unit, and tweak EQ, volume, and mic settings in the PS5 menus. PC controls are listed as arriving after launch. PlayStation did not print a battery-hour number on the blog update, so that line stays off this page.
The speakers were shown at State of Play last September with a vague 2026 window. The new part is the calendar and the sticker. $219.99 in the US. November 12 is the ship date. September 1 at 7:00am PT is when Direct starts taking money.
Official social is @PlayStation and the official PlayStation YouTube. The features trailer is above. If the desk already has a Pulse Elite or Pulse Explore, this is the same driver family pointed at a pair of docks instead of your ears.
