Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe posted a fully playable gamescom 2026 lineup on July 21. The booth is Hall 6.1, A20/B021. Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve is playable for the first time. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is playable for the first time in Europe. The Blood of Dawnwalker is also on the floor for its first open sessions. I am not rewriting that Dawnwalker page. This one is about the booth and the two titles we have not put hands on in public yet.
A playable booth is a different sentence than a trailer drop. Cologne is where Bandai Namco is willing to let a stranger stall a jet or throw a punch in Age 1000, with a queue behind them. That is a braver plan than another rendered sky with the sound turned up.
Ace Combat 8 is the one with a day attached. October 2, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, developed by Bandai Namco Aces. The official gamescom note calls this the first time visitors get the stick. The campaign pitch is still the cinematic one: you are the ace fighting for a homeland that already lost the opening week. If you have been watching trailers from a living room, this is the first chance to find out whether the new sky feels like a flight model or a cutscene with extra buttons.
I already dated the pre-order post when Bandai America opened those tiles. The booth is the next verb. First playable is the line Europe used. I am using it.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is the 2027 game, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, create-your-hero in an unexplored Toriyama future. Europe’s gamescom post is specific: first playable in Europe. That wording leaves room for hands-on somewhere else. The news is still that Cologne is where Europe gets to make a custom fighter and walk West City without a trailer editor in the way.
Dawnwalker sits on the same carpet, world’s first open playable sessions, September 3 launch. If you want that story, the existing Dawnwalker page is the one. This booth is Hall 6.1, A20/B021, Ace Combat 8 first in hands, Xenoverse 3 first in Europe. Official social is @BandaiNamcoUS. The first-party writeup is Bandai Namco Europe’s gamescom lineup post. Bring patience. First playable booths eat afternoons.
