ACE Team and Nacon’s The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu is out today, July 15, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with full crossplay. I opened Steam, the US PlayStation Store, and Nacon’s product page this morning. Steam prints $29.99 for the standard game and $39.99 for Deluxe, and Deluxe is the edition that actually adds Temple of Yig plus extra hunters.

This is 1 to 4 player co-op extraction in a cursed jungle, loosely inspired by Lovecraft’s short story The Mound. Conquistador-era explorers, a galleon hub, and a madness system that does not put a little icon on your HUD when the jungle starts lying. Hallucinations warp sight and hearing, sow paranoia, and you check the squad with spatialized, proximity voice chat. If your friend sounds wrong, maybe they are.

Deluxe Is Temple of Yig Plus Extra Hunters

Steam Deluxe is $39.99 and bundles the base game, the Characters & Items Pack, the Original Soundtrack, and the Temple of Yig Exclusive Mission. On the US PlayStation Store, Deluxe unlocks the Temple of Yig Exclusive Mission pack, the Fortune Hunters Characters Pack (two exclusive playable characters), and the Abyssal Gear Pack, exclusive looks for the knife, oil lamp, matchlock musket, and flintlock musket. The US listing I opened does not print a dollar amount on Deluxe itself, so I am not inventing one. Physical disc-in-box for PS5 and Xbox Series is August 6, if you still want a case on the shelf.

Sign the Contract, Split the Gear, Get Out

The loop starts on the galleon. Sign a contract with the captain for gear versus the treasures you bring back, split the weapons, pick a jungle sector, and extract. Recover expedition logbooks at abandoned forts to unlock new start points. Eighteen handcrafted maps at launch. Eight playable characters, four available today: Alonso de la Torre, Leonor, Don Rodrigo de Medina, and Fray Gaspar. Period arsenal, bows, crossbows, arquebus and early firearms, limited ammo. Fallen adventurers can become corrupted and turn on the party, which is a rude way to learn someone did not make the boat.

ACE Team is the Santiago studio behind Zeno Clash, Rock of Ages, and The Eternal Cylinder, founded by Andres, Carlos, and Edmundo Bordeu. Official social is @Nacon and Nacon’s YouTube. The launch trailer above is theirs. Keep the Steam page and Nacon’s product page open if you want the prices in their type. If you want the edition that adds a unique jungle contract, Deluxe is the one with Temple of Yig on it.
