Rebellion dated Alien Deathstorm for Spring 2027 and put a new trailer on the official Rebellion YouTube. The first playable is at gamescom. The mission is Reactor: a malfunctioning fission reactor, a Fission Initiator you have to pull out, and an isolated Engineer who thought this was a rescue. Day one on Game Pass. The upload is the official Rebellion clip, not a recap channel. Spring is the whole date. No month. No USD on the official page or the Steam tile, so I am not inventing one.
Rescue Becomes Survival
Official copy drops you on a devastated off-world colony. A cataclysmic mega-storm has already torn through the place. Dangerous aliens have moved in. You are an isolated Engineer with firepower and a job, and the job gets worse after you land. What you thought was a rescue becomes a fight for survival, which is the oldest bad-news brief in this genre. Rebellion dated the window anyway.
This is a first-person action-horror shooter. The storm is not a menu setting. Official language calls it an ever-present and escalating danger that has already wrecked the planet and keeps threatening the Engineer while the swarm does the rest.
The Reactor, Then the Fission Initiator
Gamescom is the first time players get hands on. The floor mission is Reactor. You fight into the malfunctioning fission reactor and try to retrieve the Fission Initiator while the aliens keep coming. That is the demo they were willing to stand next to in Hall 7. I was not in that queue. The trailer above is the living-room version.

Spring 2027, Day One on Game Pass
Spring 2027 is the window on Rebellion’s own post, the Gamescom press note, and Steam. Day one Game Pass is printed in the same sentences as the platforms. Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud, PC via Steam, PlayStation 5. That is the door list. I am not adding a Standard sticker they did not put on the tile. Xbox already named Alien Deathstorm as playable in Hall 7 on the July 28 gamescom note, same list as Fable, E-Day, and Metro 2039. The press note stops at the season. I am not turning Spring into a month.
