Bandai Namco published an edition guide on August 18 for The Blood of Dawnwalker, which is the first time the four boxes have been laid out clearly enough to actually pick one. Rebel Wolves built the game and Bandai Namco is publishing it on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 3. The four editions are Standard, Eclipse, Day One, and Collector’s, and none of them include early access, so spending more does not buy you a Tuesday.
What it does buy is extras. Every pre-order, including Standard, comes with the Sangoran Wayfarer’s Armor Set for Coen. That set is an early unlock rather than a locked skin, and you can still find it later in the game. Pre-ordering just hands Coen the nameless smith’s emblem sooner, the mark of someone who travelled the continent looking for inspiration.
Eclipse is the digital bundle: the base game plus a Digital World Compendium, a Digital Comic Book that works as a prequel, and a Digital Soundtrack. It does not change how the game plays. If you start on Standard or Day One, you can buy that Eclipse digital content later as an upgrade, which is cleaner than locking the extras to a one-time digital SKU.
PlayStation US lists The Blood of Dawnwalker at $69.99 and the Eclipse Edition at $79.99, and Steam matches those two prices. Steam still dates an unlock for September 2, while Bandai and PlayStation both say September 3.
Day One is the physical first print: the base game, a Steelbook, and a World Map of Vale Sangora at 33 x 40 cm, drawn like a 14th-century illumination. Bandai’s guide puts it at the same price as Standard, and Bandai Namco America’s store lists Day 1 Edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox at $69.99. That is the shelf version if you want metal and paper without the Collector’s outlay, while stocks last.
Collector’s is the full box: everything in Eclipse digitally, plus the Steelbook, the World Map, a physical 60-page hardcover World Compendium, and a PureArts Coen figurine at 23 cm in a collector box, human by day and vampire by night. It is a limited run. Bandai Namco America lists Collector’s Edition for PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Steam at $199.99.
