Hideo Kojima has finally announced the release date for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the highly anticipated sequel to his sci-fi epic. The game will launch exclusively on PS5 on June 26, 2025, bringing players back into the mysterious world of Sam Porter Bridges for another thought-provoking journey.
Kojima Productions has also revealed that pre-orders for Death Stranding 2 will open on March 17, 2025. Players who pre-order will receive:

✅ Three special exoskeletons (Battle, Boost, and Bokka)
To accompany the announcement, Kojima unveiled a brand-new 10-minute trailer featuring never-before-seen gameplay and story elements. The trailer is set to the song “To the Wilder” by Woodkid, creating an atmospheric and emotional preview of what’s to come.
This time, Sam’s journey will take him to new horizons, including Mexico, as he grapples with the question of whether the connections he fought to rebuild are truly beneficial to society. Players can expect new gadgets, dynamic natural environments, and deep character interactions, all wrapped in Kojima’s signature symbolic storytelling.

Both the Collector’s Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition will also include early access to the game, allowing players to start their journey on June 24, 2025, two days before the official release.
