Wolfeye Studios Unveils Their Latest Project, Aiming to Capture the Magic of Dishonored and Prey

Wolfeye Studios, the developer founded by Raphael Colantonio, renowned for his work on Dishonored and Prey, has just lifted the veil on their newest video game. Following their debut title Weird West, the studio’s second project promises to be a spiritual successor to the immersive worlds Colantonio helped create at Arkane Studios. The game, which is still unnamed, was revealed through a series of first images, a short video, and an announcement that a private alpha test will be available in 2025.

A Steampunk World Set in the American West

This upcoming title is described as a first-person action role-playing game set in a retro-futuristic world brimming with steampunk elements. The initial visuals show a world filled with robots, large machinery, and vast natural environments that evoke the canyons of the American West. The game’s setting merges the mechanical with the organic, creating a unique atmosphere that fans of Dishonored and Prey will find both familiar and innovative.

“We’re excited to officially confirm that our next game is in production and that it’s a first-person action RPG,” said Raphael Colantonio, President and Creative Director of Wolfeye Studios. “Fans of my previous games like Dishonored and Prey, as well as fans of RPGs in general, will feel right at home here (…) We can’t wait for fans to see what we’re working on.”

Currently, the project is in the development stage, with the studio actively seeking a publishing partner to bring the game to market. Colantonio emphasized the importance of community feedback in shaping the final product. To that end, Wolfeye Studios plans to host a private alpha test in 2025, allowing players to experience the game and provide valuable input.

“While we look for the right publisher, we have our sights set on involving our community in the development of the game with a private alpha in 2025,” Colantonio explained.
