IllFonic showed the standalone story for Halloween: The Game and opened digital pre-orders the same day, with Standard at $39.99 and Deluxe at $59.99. Steam Advance Access starts September 4, PlayStation Deluxe at 9:00am PT (12:00pm ET), and launch is still Tuesday, September 8, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic.
This is the first look at playing Myers from the Smith’s Grove escape through Halloween Night 1978, six chapters, with Dr. Sam Loomis narrating. You find out how he got the jumpsuit, the mask, and the kitchen knife, then work toward the babysitter encounter while the sandbox stays on: stalk, wait, or rush a kill if the cops are closing. That is the pitch that finally makes this more than another licensed one-versus-many with a famous face.
Deluxe is the game, one exclusive Myers skin, two exclusive Civilians, and more surprises. IllFonic developed and published it, Gun Interactive co-publishes, and Compass International Pictures and Further Front remain the partners, still on Unreal Engine 5. Official social is @HalloweenTVG, and the story video below is IllFonic’s.
