Marvel’s Wolverine has a Features Trailer out today, August 28, 2026, and the date on the PlayStation Blog is still September 15. Insomniac Games put the post up. Liam McIntyre narrates it as James “Logan” Howlett. PlayStation 5 only. I opened the Blog this morning. The claws are not a rumor cycle anymore. They are a calendar day.

The trailer sits on PlayStation’s own YouTube. That is the one I am embedding. Combat is close and mean: claws, kicks, barrages, critical strikes. Special Techniques include Tornado Spin, Knee Breaker, and Spiral Strike, with four equipped at once. Adaptations tune momentum, Rage, and parry windows. Rage itself is a three-tier pool that can end in a last stand or a berserk run. That is Insomniac’s language, not mine.

Team X, Trask, and the Cabin Between Fights

The story puts Logan and Jean Grey with Team X against Bolivar Trask and the Reavers. Omega Red and Deathstrike are named on the Blog. Between fights you can chase Nightmare Doors for combat and traversal challenges, sniff whisky bottles for forgotten memories, and crack material crates for suits. Insomniac lists Battle Reborn as its original suit, then comic and screen looks inspired by Weapon X, Old Man Logan, Ultimate, Patch, and civilian staples. Claw variants show up too. Bone, notched, curved, reflective, angled. Look sharp, stay sharp is still a terrible slogan and somehow the correct one.

Nightmare Cabin, Accessibility, and the Toggles

Nightmare Cabin is the launch hub for New Game Plus exclusive Techniques and Level Caps, Mission Replay, Nightmare Challenges, and Photo Mode with a day-one update. Marvel’s Wolverine carries over 100 accessibility options from prior Insomniac games, including High Contrast, Audio Description in English, Global Game Speed, and Strong Haptic Signals. Violence and adult-language toggles are new categories here. They alter dynamic blood and dismemberment, and filter English adult language. Digital Deluxe is on the Store with exclusive suits, claws, and bonuses. I am not inventing a USD sticker I did not open today.

Wishlist and pre-order on PlayStation Store, PS Direct, or a retailer. Official social is @PlayStation and @InsomniacGames. Read Insomniac’s PlayStation Blog features post. September 15 is when Logan stops being a trailer and starts being a save file.
