Nintendo of America put two new Switch 2 bundles on the official US news page today. I opened that post, then I opened the store listings. The Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle arrives late September 2026 for $549.99. You get the console, a full digital download of Mario Kart World, and a 3-Month (90-Day) Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. Nintendo prints a $37.98 savings against buying those pieces separately. The Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle is October 22, 2026, for $529.99. Same hardware, same three months of Individual Online, different game. Nintendo prints $27.98 on that one.

October 22 is also the day Nintendo Switch Sports Resort launches as a Switch 2 exclusive, so the cheaper bundle is not a delayed hardware SKU. It is a launch-day box. The reason that sticker sits where it does is the September 1, 2026 price move Nintendo already flagged: the standard Switch 2 SRP becomes $499.99, “as previously announced.” These bundles land after that floor is in place, which is why a $549.99 Mario Kart package can still look like a deal on paper if you were going to buy the system, the game, and a membership anyway.

Mario Kart Comes Back as a $549.99 Late-September Box

Mario Kart World is already out. This is not a new track. It is a new way to buy the hardware with the launch racer still in the download. Nintendo’s US copy still sells the open road, vast interconnected environments if you want to race, or you can wander. I checked the official US Mario Kart World listing while I was there. The game by itself is $79.99. The bundle is $549.99 with the console and three months of Individual Online. If you already own the game, you are shopping for a system, not another copy of Rainbow Road.

Wuhu Island Lands With the Console on October 22

Sports Resort is the new one. Wuhu Island is the setting. You play as a Sportsmate or a Mii. Nintendo says 12 motion-control sports, then names Prop Plane, Power Cruising, Boxing, Archery, Bowling, Thumb Wrestling, and Jump Rope. I am not adding a court that is not on this announcement. The official US store still prints $49.99 for the game on its own. The bundle is $529.99 for the console, the full digital game, and the same 3-month Individual membership. Pre-orders are “available soon” on Nintendo Store, Nintendo eShop, and participating retailers. That is Nintendo’s phrase, not a street date I invented.
