Pre-orders for Pulse Elevate wireless speakers opened this morning at 7:00am PT (10:00am ET), the window PlayStation locked in on August 18. The pair launches starting November 12 at $219.99, and these are Sony Interactive Entertainment’s first speakers rather than a headset that grew a stand. Midnight Black and White are the two colors on that sticker.

Per that August 18 calendar, pre-orders opened this morning on PlayStation Direct and at participating retailers. Midnight Black is the global color on Direct and at those retailers. White stays exclusive to Direct in the US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, plus select retailers elsewhere, while supplies last.

$219.99 to Reserve, November 12 to Hear Them

Each speaker uses a planar magnetic driver and its own woofer. Supported PS5 games can run Tempest 3D AudioTech through the pair. PlayStation Link is the low-latency, lossless hop to a PS5, PC, Mac, or PlayStation Portal, and a USB-C PlayStation Link adapter is in the box. Bluetooth is still there if you want a phone or a TV in the mix, and both connections can run at once, which is the useful trick: game audio on Link, a call or a playlist on Bluetooth.

The right speaker has a built-in mic with AI-enhanced noise rejection, so voice chat does not require a headset. Charging docks are included. You can tilt each speaker, ride volume on the unit, and tweak EQ, volume, and mic mute in the PS5 menus, with PC controls listed as arriving after launch.

Official social is @PlayStation. The August 18 PlayStation Blog update is the calendar this morning is executing, with a November 12 launch at $219.99 on Direct and at participating retailers as PlayStation described them in August.
