Konami dropped a story trailer for Rev. NOiR during this morning’s KONAMI PRESS START at 8:00 AM PT (11:00 AM ET), then used the same window to put the RPG on Xbox Series X|S and Steam alongside the already announced PlayStation 5 release. The year is still 2027, and wishlists opened today, which is the practical news hiding under the celestial catastrophe.

The new cut follows Asch, a quiet boy carrying an Astral Ordinance to save many people, after Finé pulls him out of a ruined village and onto the Cessation. Lightfall is back, a rain that kills on contact and leaves blight husks where people were standing. Konami framed the world as one that had lived for a long time under ordinances handed down by the Determinant in the sky, until that peace finally ran out.

Ordinances, lightfall, and a party that will not stay small

Finé is a young cleric with the Rainbow Astria, cheerful enough to want the wider world and stubborn enough to take the Saint’s job seriously. Diana, her guard from the Holy Capital Garrison, is the one who will step in front of a problem. A Lysrian gunner joins later as a guide, and Konami’s character write-up says he will refuse to walk past anyone in trouble. Together they hunt provitons, the sources Konami names for the deadly rain, while Asch tries to decide whether he is following guidance or choosing the work himself.

Combat is the other half of the pitch. Konami describes an action RPG that still wants you making calls: normal attacks, Artes, and counters off a perfect dodge, then a wider kit through Astral Sigils and Kardieoses you inherit from people you meet. The idea is that players who do not live in action games can still find a style, then watch that style change as new encounters unlock heavier tools. A second trailer is on the same Konami channel if you want the combat-forward cut. The story trailer does not hide the cost, because the Determinant is not a kind sky and the Cessation is not a tourist route.

2027, three platforms, wishlists open

PlayStation 5 was the first platform on the card. Press Start added Xbox Series X|S and Steam, and the official site now carries the 2027 window with the story, second, and teaser trailers stacked together. No month sits under that year. Rev. NOiR is on Steam if you want the PC page live today, with the console stores following the same wishlist pitch.
