Konami and Annapurna Interactive put more than 18 minutes of Silent Hill: Townfall on the official Silent Hill YouTube channel. The gameplay trailer follows Simon Ordell through the Shorefront streets of St. Amelia, the fog-soaked Scottish island he is called back to so he can put things right. The game still launches September 24 on PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
A second trailer is already on the calendar. Konami will show a new Townfall trailer at gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25, then run an interactive booth experience in Hall 07.1 from August 26 through August 30.
Screen Burn Interactive built this one in first person, which is new for a full-length Silent Hill. Simon carries a CRTV, a pocket television that stands in for the old radio. Tuning it pulls clues, story fragments, and the outline of whatever is standing on the other side of a wall. The official chapters walk from the opening into Zoe’s house, a first encounter, then St. Amelia’s Otherworld with a pistol, then a tenement that has already gone wrong.
Steam’s own page keeps the rest of the pitch tight. Scotland, 1996. Stealth if you can manage it. Melee and firearms when you cannot. Narrative puzzles tied to those analog signals. Multiple endings. The score is by Pilotpriest, and it moves with you.
Konami’s date is Thursday, September 24. Steam lists a September 23 unlock. Standard is $49.99 on Steam. Deluxe is $59.99 and includes a digital artbook, soundtrack, Simon’s alternate outfit, and 48 hours of early access. Steam prints that Advance Access as September 21. Pre-order either edition and you get the Rusted CRTV style. The Beach Edition CRTV is a PlayStation 5 exclusive. Physical pre-orders are PS5 only.
Xbox is not on Konami’s platform list, and it is not on Steam. Do not wait for a Series tile that is not there.
Official social is @SilentHill and the official Silent Hill YouTube. The gameplay video is above. Opening Night Live is August 25 if you want the next look. September 24 is the one that matters if you just want to walk St. Amelia yourself.
