Sony announced the release date of PlayStation VR 2, its virtual reality headset that will finally hit stores on February 22, 2023, for $749.99.
After the announcement of the date of its arrival, the Japanese company has also published a post on its official blog to present 11 new titles that will be part of the virtual reality headset’s catalogue of games.
Of these 11 titles you can see listed just below, only Jurassic World Aftermath is confirmed to be coming to PS VR2 on February 22, 2023, while the rest still don’t have a date set on the calendar. Here is the list:
Delving a little deeper into these 11 titles that have just been announced for PS VR2, we see that there are video games for all tastes. For example, one of the most attractive on paper is The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR from Supermassive Games that will invite us to survive (or die of fear) and different experiences such as a nightmare ghost ship or in the desert, going through a hotel or the New England of the 17th century.
Going a little further into the action, we have Crossfire: Sierra Squad, which brings one of the essential shooter sagas in Asia to virtual reality and will be exclusive to the Sony headset launching throughout 2023.
Suppose you want a more relaxed experience instead of action or shooting. In that case, we have Cities VR – Enhanced Edition, an improved edition of the virtual reality adaptation of Cities: Skylines, in which we can create and manage the city of our dreams.
Another exciting proposal would be The Light Brigade, a dungeon mystery game for one player, in addition to the MMO Zenith, the comic adventure Cosmoniuous High or the cooperative shooter After the Fall.
In addition to all this, Sony has announced that during this same month of November, new PS VR2 games will be discovered that can be reserved in advance on the PlayStation Store or authorized stores, while the virtual reality headset will start with its reservation campaign on November 15.
