Star Wars Zero Company is out today, August 27, 2026. I opened Steam and the US Xbox store this morning. Bit Reactor built it with Lucasfilm Games. Single-player turn-based tactics. PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. You play Hawks, a former Republic officer running a company that does not march in the parade footage.

EA listed 15:00 UTC, which is 8:00 AM PT (11:00 AM ET). The launch note is dated today. The job is Kundri Fathom and the Infinite Coil, a Separatist-aligned cult working the shadows of the Clone Wars. The official final trailer is from EA Star Wars’ own channel. That is the one I will actually embed.

Hawks, the Operators, and the Den

Hawks used to be a captain in the Grand Army. The authored roster EA named is Trick (CT-3301), Tel-Rea Vokoss, the Tognath Jedi Padawan, Cly Kullervo of Clan Verminoth, Luco Bronc, Jae Mordant, and Kabb Uppercut. Kabb is a Felshi, an original species, with a cybernetic arm and the punch they named after him. Authored Operators walk in with the story. Custom ones you hire and dress yourself.

Home is the Den, a hangar on the Ring of Kafrene. The camera drops into third person between fights. Holotable for the next job. Medbay for the people you did not lose. The named planets on EA’s page are Bespin, Dantooine, Lothal, and Ryloth, plus more they did not list. I am using their names, not a fan map.

Three AP, Overwatch, Advantage

Each Operator gets three Action Points a turn. Move, shoot, utility, ability. Overwatch is the cone you drop when the wallet is empty, and it can stop someone mid-step. Hits build Advantage, a separate resource you spend on extra AP, a rocket strike, a squad-wide hit-chance bump, or a taunt. Cover matters. Flanking and height help. Three injuries on standard difficulty is permadeath. That last line is why the Medbay exists, and why you start counting beds before you start counting medals.

The Stickers I Opened

Steam US prints $49.99 for Standard and $59.99 for Deluxe. Xbox US prints $59.99 and $69.99 Deluxe. Those match EA’s June 5 sticker. Deluxe is two cosmetic packs and five painted weapon themes. Steam names the packs Grand Army of the Republic and Shadow Collective. The Xbox tile still labels the Crystalline Astromech pack a Preorder Bonus, so I am not promising it on a launch buy.
