After the troubled debut of Battlefield 2042, DICE producer Jeremy Chubb has assured players that the team is fully focused on delivering a polished, stable launch for Battlefield 6.
In a recent interview, Chubb emphasized, “We feel like we’re very prepared this time around.” The developer has learned significant lessons from previous games, particularly the importance of delivering a complete and seamless experience from day one.
Classic Battlefield classes (Assault, Engineer, Support, Recon) are returning, inspired by player feedback.
The game draws heavily from the beloved style and mechanics of Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4.
Enhanced squad-based gameplay, large-scale sandbox environments, and refined destruction physics.
To guarantee quality, DICE implemented Battlefield Labs, an extensive internal and external testing program, enabling early detection of technical issues across numerous hardware configurations.
Open Beta available this August.
Full Release: October 10, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
