Microsoft has revealed the first wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in May 2026, and it’s a stacked lineup headlined by the open-world arcade racer Forza Horizon 6.
Out of the 13 games being added during the first half of the month, five are day-one releases, giving subscribers instant access to some of the most anticipated new titles on the service.
Several of the day-one additions are generating serious buzz on Steam wishlists:
Note that Forza Horizon 6 launches on May 19, but subscribers with the Premium Upgrade Pack ($59.99) will be able to jump into Early Access starting May 15.
Microsoft also announced the titles exiting the service on May 15 (with a 20% discount available in the Microsoft Store until then):
Last month Microsoft announced a price reduction for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Unofficial reports suggest the company is exploring a more modular structure for the service in the future, potentially integrating it with platforms like Discord to offer even greater flexibility for subscribers.
With a packed May featuring everything from cozy adventures to massive open-world racers and highly anticipated sequels, this is shaping up to be one of the strongest months for Game Pass in quite some time.
