Data miners have been found clues that suggest that a veteran of the series will return soon.

A new review of data mining of Mortal Kombat 11 suggests that the developer might be working on an additional character that was not previously announced as part of the season pass.

According to the information shown, a series of sound files linked to a character that is not presented in the game and that has not been announced for the Kombat Pack has been found.

The character in question is Fujin, and there are already some voices in the game, such as the one announcing his name as the winner of a match, so it seems clear that the developer is working – or has worked – on him as a playable character.
