EA and DICE announced a few minutes ago that their war shooter will have a testing phase on PC, PS5, PS4, XSX / S and Xbox One early next month.
Battlefield 2042, the war shooter from EA and DICE, already has a date for its open beta phase with which it will allow players to try the game for the first time while its creators test the stability of the servers and find the latest bugs to be polished before from the final release on November 19.
This open beta will last from October 6 to 9. It will begin with an early access phase on October 6 (starting at 9 a.m.) and October 7 for those who have pre-ordered the game or are members of EA Play while The rest of the players will be able to join the battle on October 8 and 9, also starting at 9 on the first day. In both cases, the game’s preload will begin next Tuesday, October 5, starting at 9 in the morning.
EA and DICE have detailed the content that will be available during the test that will focus on the Orbital map (the spectacular area where we saw a space rocket take off in the trailer) and the iconic Conquest mode that undergoes various changes that we tell you in Our first impressions, with the action focused on sectors with multiple flags rather than individual control points.
Another of the novelties of Battlefield 2042 are the specialists, soldiers who will fulfill different functions on the battlefield. We will have four available in this first test: Webster Mackay, Maria Falck, Puotr “Boris” Guskovsku and Wikus “Casper” Van Daele.
As for the language, this beta will only be in English while, as expected, the progress we make during this testing phase will not carry over to Battlefield 2042 when it launches next November.
