A user has been able to access Battlefield 2042 before its official launch and has shared an image of the arsenal available at the moment, which only has 22 weapons.
Although Battlefield 2042 does not officially launch until November 19 ( a week earlier for those subscribed to EA Play ), some players have already accessed the new game in the war series from DICE and Electronic Arts. Communities like Reddit are already filling up with images and videos of games from the new Battlefield, and specific details do not like their fans. For example, the arsenal of Battlefield 2042 would only have 22 weapons.
There is still no official confirmation that this will be the arsenal we have in the game’s final version. Still, a user who has already been able to access a commercial copy of Battlefield 2042 has published a screenshot in which we can see all the available weapons, both locked and unlocked. To the surprise of many, the number of firearms is relatively low for what is usually given in this type of video game.
According to this user, Reddit has not been slow to emerge early comparisons to other games in the series: Battlefield 4 had 19 pistols / secondary weapons. This other recalls that this same issue had 77 weapons launches.
That is why Battlefield fans have quickly noted their anger at the possibility that the new installment only has a score of weapons. Specifically, several points have made the community explode, such as the fact that there is only one pistol or only two light machine guns. Players should remember that Battlefield 2042 is an exclusively multiplayer game. Hence, this is likely the initial arsenal available at launch and that little by little new content will be filled as the seasons progress.
Battlefield 2042 is coming November 19 to PS5, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC
