The long-awaited Sucker Punch game will go on sale exclusively for PlayStation 4 on July 17.

Sony had distributed a new trailer for Ghost of Tsushima, the long-awaited new game that Sucker Punch, the creators of Infamous, is developing exclusively for PlayStation 4 to turn us into a samurai in the year 1274 when the invading horde of Mongolia came to Japan to obliterate everything.

Jin Sakai, the samurai hero

This time the video in question focuses on detailing and narrating the background of its protagonist, Jin Sakai, who will have to become “the Ghost” to avenge his people. To do this, he must become a real samurai and forge alliances throughout the Tsushima region to achieve his ultimate goal: to destroy Khotun Kan, the Mongol leader.

Of course, the video also shows us various sequences taken directly from its gameplay, thus allowing us to see for ourselves what the game looks like graphically. Of course, we warn you that its format is vertical since it is a video prepared and edited to distribute on social networks.

One of the most anticipated releases of the year for PS4

Ghost of Tsushima is scheduled for release on July 17 after suffering a slight delay due to the current pandemic that the world is suffering from COVID-19. As we previously mentioned, it is an action-adventure in the open world in which we will have to cross the Tsushima region while we face all kinds of enemy soldiers making use of our abilities with the katana and other weapons.

If you want to know more about what we can expect from this ambitious game before it is released for the current Sony console, we encourage you to look for our coverage closer to launch at Hyped4
