Let’s Sing 2021 Review

The music will take over and you will become the star of the party while playing Let's Sing 2021

It is very necessary to keep our sanity living through these strange times and it’s hard to find a game that fits all friends or family, and there are barely any titles fills the need of the genre, but karaoke fans still have the Let’s Sing series for times like these. Now it is the 2021 version of the series, which comes to consoles to give us hours of fun.

35 Songs

When we talk about a karaoke titles, the first thing to always keep in mind are the list of songs. This time we have a list with a not inconsiderable size that combines old glories of the 90s but many novelties of recent years with, Ana Guerra, Billie Eilish. They all include the official video clips, so we have the highest possible fidelity even if we want to put them in the background.

The way you play is same as the previous installments, using the cellphone app or a usb mic. While the song is playing, we see a series of bars and the letter that corresponds to each one, and we have to try to sing with an intonation as close as possible to the one that corresponds to get as many points as possible. Even your voice does not have to resemble that of the artist, we can always go to settings to do a tutorial or adjust the sound settings.

We can sing using USB microphones in the dock (if we do not have them, they are also sold in a pack with the game), but if we want to use portable mode or we do not have these accessories, we can use the game application on the mobile and use the device as a microphone and can play up to four people in local mode.

CHOOSE YOUR MICROPHONE IN LET’S SING 2021

Before you start singing, you have to make an avatar (which you can unlock more as you progress) linked to our profile that is updated with our progress, useful especially to compete against other users, which is very much in line with the colour of the title menus. Once we have everything ready, we go to see the modes. The first of them, Classic, lives up to its name, showing us the entire list of songs from which we can sing the one we want alone or as a party group.

In the second place, we have Legend, a mode in which we have to beat 16 CPU avatars in three challenges and a final challenge each, perfect to have a reason to play alone and feel that we can “pass the game.” There is also room for certain experiments like Mix Tape 2.0 (which mixes song segments into a single track), Feat (which allows us to sing a duet with the original artist or a person and calculate our compatibility), Let’s Party. The latter allows us to create two teams of up to 4 people each in which we compete in a way more similar to that of mini-game titles, with prizes, advantages and changes in each round.

And if you are worried about not being able to leave the house, there is also an online aspect to face friends or users from anywhere in the world. In short, it is perhaps the karaoke game that offers the most variety of options when alone at home. We find a title with beautiful and easy-to-use menus to manage everything related to the rest’s appearance and settings. And if everything falls short, additional packs of songs (paid) are being launched in the online store based on which ever console you’re playing it on, and all these songs are sorted by theme or date.

Therefore, with Let’s Sing 2021, we are facing a title of a genre that has never really had a huge evolution since it appeared on consoles, but that has bothered to fight against it and add more options at the level of customization, recognition improvements and modes for the solo gamer, so it’s a great title to consider if you’re into karaoke.

Great

As far as I can remember, I've been surrounded by technology. My father bought us a Commodore 64 so I started playing games as a baby, following my passion with Amiga 500, then PC and so on. I love game related collectibles, and when I'm not collecting I review games, watch movies and TV Shows or you may catch me keeping a low profile at Game Events.
