Sony has assured that they do not have any type of relationship with them or with Naughty Dog, although they did not want to give more details.

Last April 27, there was a significant leak of The Last of Us Part 2, the awaited video game of Naughty Dog for PlayStation 4. Due to this, a multitude of videos and details of the history of the game came to light, flooding the network with some pretty severe spoilers that threaten to gut many of the surprises that fans have been waiting for years to discover playing for themselves. After much speculation, Sony seems to have already clues of who or who have been responsible.

Not related to Sony or Naughty Dog

Now, Sony has assured that it has already identified the main culprits of this leak, as it has been able to confirm on the GamesIndustry.biz website. Also, Sony has also taken the opportunity to comment that the individuals in question have nothing to do with Sony or Naughty Dog, denying the latest rumours that the person in charge of perpetuating this act had been an employee of Naughty Dog.

Of course, the statements from Sony end here, since they have refused to give more details on this matter until they finish completing their investigation thoroughly. As you can imagine, this new information raises new doubts about the identity of those responsible for the leak and how they were able to get hold of so many confidential materials from a game from a studio as large and important as Naughty Dog.

Naughty Dog’s biggest and most ambitious game

The Last of Us Part II is scheduled for release on June 19 after suffering a couple of delays. It will be released exclusively for PlayStation 4. It will offer us an action, stealth and survival adventure with a lot of narratives in which we will play Ellie several years after the events of the original game. If you want to know more about it, we encourage you to take a look at the latest reviews we published on Hyped4!
