The famous New York amusement park will be an explorable area in the sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man, though we don’t know if we’ll be able to ride the rides. On sale October 20.

Like any sequel worth its salt, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will allow players to explore an expanded version of the previous installment’s map. The Insomniac Games team in charge of its development has revealed that the game setting for the sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man will be approximately twice as large and will even allow us to visit some emblematic locations such as the neighbourhoods of Queens, Brooklyn and even Coney Island, New York’s amusement park.

Those in charge of the title have shared this new information through a New Zealand PlayStation blog entry focused on naming some of the recent locations that we will have the pleasure of visiting in the meshes of Peter Parker and Miles Morales. We don’t know if we will be able to get on some of the Coney Island attractions or if a significant event of the main story will take place in this area, although at least we know that it will be a fully explorable area.

Everything We Know About Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

“After a gameplay of about 12 minutes or so, we all expected to know the game’s release date for PS5 finally, but unfortunately, Insomniac left us with honey on our lips [it was later confirmed at the Summer Game Fest 2023]. We only know that the title will arrive in the fall of 2023. Beyond that, the actor who lent his voice to Venom in the game mentioned that the premiere would be in September, but nothing is confirmed yet. With this extensive gameplay while we review the two previous installments”, we commented in our most recent full preview. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will launch exclusively for PS5 on October 20.
