Sir Daniel Fortesque returns from beyond with an arsenal of axes or crossbows; in order to slay some enemies, players will have to attack them in certain ways.
Medievil Remake prepares to debut on PlayStation 4 on October 25, marking the return of a game that fell in love in 1998. The players once again put themselves in the skin … or, rather, in the bones of the gentleman Sir Daniel Fortesque, who in this installment will learn to use other weapons, in addition to his characteristic sword and shield. In a new trailer, PlayStation teaches us to get the most out of our arsenal :
As PlayStation details in the latest trailer of the Gallowmere Guide, players can now use axes, hammers, crossbows or bows while touring the gloomy kingdom of Gallowmere, where the action of the game takes place. Each of these weapons also has “more than one way” to be used, which we can apply to each of the enemies that will stand our way.
While our sword can serve to control a group of enemies, we can load the hammer with a kind of spectral power to hit several creatures at once by crashing it to the ground. In addition, the trailer warns of the following: “There are weapons that work best against certain enemies,” so we have to think carefully about how to deal with our opponents.
Weapons also have more than one way of usage
Without losing the hack and slash essence of the original, Other Ocean Interactive gives us again the experience of the game that dazzled the players but taking care of their difficulty so that it is not frustrating. Zombies, flying creatures and other beings will meet us as we explore the tombs and mausoleums that are scattered in Gallowmere. So it’s time to get a good grip on our weapons and prepare for an adventure.
We remind you that Medievil Remake will debut on October 25 exclusively for PS4. A modern version of the 1998 game that has both a renewed graphic section and a new configuration of buttons and perspective.
