Mighty No. 9 Review

The bosses are as in many classic games quite easy to figure out since they all have patterns, but in this game, they gain strength and new attacks in mid-battle which you will have to adjust for.

2016619195651_1There are twelve levels to complete in the adventure, and it took us about 5-6 hours to complete. The amount of time that you will need will depend on your skill set and how often you have to try to get through each level.

You will be pleased with the replayability of the game since there are different game modes such as challenges, online career, cooperative and boss rush. Also, there are unlovable difficulties. Furthermore, you can try to get the maximum range for each phase by trying to get all points to be higher up on the online leaderboard.

mighty-no-9-2015121712040_3The graphics in our opinion could be much more polished, and it feels that this is the weakest link of all. They are extremely simple, and the effects and scenarios are quite unspectacular. You can tell that there wasn’t much effort put into this area. You would expect graphics like this from a console like Playstation 2.

The sound effects go by rather noticed without and climax during the gameplay. You will notice during the gameplay vs. the bosses, but that’s about it.

mighty-no-9-2015428162331_7In conclusion, Mighty No.9 is an entertaining game that is based on very basic graphics and sound effects, but the fun factor can be very high at times due to the very well adjusted difficulty level. You will also be motivated by the fact that you have to collect points to move up the leaderboard. If you compare it to the legendary Mega Man, you might be a bit disappointed, but if you put Mega Man aside, it will be more bearable. Give it a try and make your opinion.

As far as I can remember, I've been surrounded by technology. My father bought us a Commodore 64 so I started playing games as a baby, following my passion with Amiga 500, then PC and so on. I love game related collectibles, and when I'm not collecting I review games, watch movies and TV Shows or you may catch me keeping a low profile at Game Events.
