The company intends to test the quality of the servers by inviting players to try the title. However, from TheGamer they have pointed out the particular emphasis that is made in the following sentence: ” This test will prioritize 1v1 online games .” That can be interpreted in various ways. The first, which has most excited the community, is that Mortal Kombat 1 has a hidden 2v2 mode that will be revealed over time or already at launch, thus returning to previous installments of the saga being somewhat stuck with your offer.
The second thing that can be interpreted is more straightforward: it specifies that the focus will only be on 1v1 online to clarify that players will not be able to try the story mode of the work or other ways that will be available at launch. Any of the two options is valid, but of course, the one that attracts the most attention is that possible 2v2. Mortal Kombat 1 will launch on September 9 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. This summer, we will see the official gameplay of the title.
