The next Xbox games want to offer smooth gameplay and a spectacular graphic section; Spencer outlines the road map.
Phil says – If we talk about a generational console jump, the first thing that comes to mind is an improvement in the graphic section. This will inevitably be our first impression since it is the most appealing aspect of a video game. However, Phil Spencer, head of the Xbox Division, does not want them to be simply “pretty”: he also wants the Xbox Scarlett games to “feel good” when it comes to playing.
Beautiful and enjoyable games to play
In the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, Spencer was talking about the hardware of the company’s next console. He mentioned that, of course, part of the new Xbox will focus on offering better graphics and he continues, but that’s not all.
Spencer wants the games to play smoothly too, which means that Xbox Scarlett will aim to offer better latency and framerate. He hopes that the system not only has a catalogue of games with a spectacular graphic section but also that they run better.
We may find out more about Scarlett’s hardware during the E3 2020.
