The survival horror titles from Capcom are coming on the Nintendo console with a free demos before their launch.
Capcom has announced the availability of demos for the Nintendo Switch versions of Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6, two games in the Resident Evil series that were announced last summer and will land on the console on October 29 through of the digital distribution with a price of $29.99 each. To celebrate its launch, the Japanese company has offered us two different demos and new information about its contents.

Two new installments of Resident Evil for Nintendo Switch

Resident Evil 5 is one of the most ambitious and controversial installments of the entire survival horror saga. This new installment for Nintendo Switch includes an online and local cooperative mode, which will allow us as players to fight against those infected in Africa in the same console. In this sequel, we will embody Chris Redfield and his partner agent Sheva Alomar, a duet that must come together to prevent the spread of the virus and its mutations.

On the other hand, Resident Evil 6 increased in scale, uniting heroes, villains and very dear allies of the saga such as Chris, Leon S. Kennedy or Ada Wong, who must cooperate to fight against a threat born in the roots of Umbrella and that this time it will be on a global scale: the fearsome virus C. In the sixth part, with several parallel stories that are intertwining and intersecting, we also find classic and innovative multiplayer modes, and the possibility of expanding the experience with different types of extra content.

Do they include downloadable content? Yes

As an improved and complete edition, Resident Evil 5 will include all downloadable content released to date, including the various expansions of the story, and the famous versus mode, as well as all the characters and costumes. It will not be the only change, as it will also bring The Mercenaries United mode, which mixes two classic modes in Capcom’s survival horror titles like The Mercenaries and The Mercenaries Reunion.
Also, it should be noted that the sixth installment will not be left behind on the Nintendo console, and in addition to bringing all the downloadable content released, it will offer two costumes per character, some of them exclusive to Residentevil.net and now included in the title, and the possibility of cooperative play with four players. Survivor mode will also be available on Switch.
