The title will arrive on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, offering us a first-person shooter experience and we will fight against Skynet and its legions of machines.
Reef Entertainment and Teyon have announced the launch of Terminator: Resistance, a first-person action video game that will hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 15. The game has an original story in the post-apocalyptic world dominated by Skynet.
The title will tell us an original story based on the films Terminator and Terminator 2: The day of the final judgment, developing in the destroyed and demolished version of the city of Los Angeles almost 30 years after the day of the Last Judgment. It will take place in the War of the Future seen on the tapes of James Cameron, introducing us to a new hero, Jacob Rivers, a soldier of the Pacific Resistance Division, who will end up being the priority target of Skynet and its legions of terminators.
We will have to fight against a selection of the enemies of the movies, from the T-800 to completely new ones, through the HK-Tank or the mythical Hunter Killer. We must equip ourselves with an arsenal of plasma weapons, hack devices and try to use the scrap metal we find to craft equipment and attachments.
The enemy catalogue will include classics from the movie series and others designed enemies for the occasion
Terminator: Resistance comes with the RPG component since we can increase our skills while exploring the city, receiving level upgrades if we complete the history missions or decide to get involved in the various side missions. With a story open to our actions and decisions, the game will arrive just after the premiere of ‘Terminator: Dark Destination’, the new film in the series that will be screened in theatres on October 25.
