Naughty Dog works in a sequel with broader stages, more characters, polished combat, and that could be completed in 25 to 30 hours.

The Last of Us Part II is Naughty Dog’s most ambitious and most significant project. Also, recently revealed title will be released on two discs. Halley Gross, one of the scriptwriters, says: 50% larger than the original, which could take between 15 and 20 hours in the first game.

“The game I think will be 50% higher. It’s huge. Not only in duration, but all the stages are also bigger and broader, we have more sequences, more characters, more animations, more physical combat systems. In every way, it’s bigger and better.

“You only see small portions both in terms of their duration and in terms of their mechanics. There are many manufacturing objects that we have not revealed and new skills that we have not shown, ” co-director Anthony Newman told us in an interview.

The Last of Us Part II launches on PlayStation 4 on February 21.
