Another issue with Unity was the long loading times , which greatly affect the pace of the game: between cinematic at the beginning and end of a mission, or even worse, when you got killed or restart a memory, waiting for the mission to load was painful. We have also mentioned earlier that there are some bugs and glitches, which clearly shows that the game lacks that final polish , it would be helpful if they gave few extra months of development. Ubisoft seems unwilling to change this habit yet.
The sounds are also great, companied with the fantastic visual atmosphere , demonstrates full of life, with noises from factories, traffic of cars, boats Thames, songs sung by street musicians, London and all wrapped by the beautiful soundtrack composed by Austin Wintory (well known for his work on Journey ). Scores provide a high level in all compositions, with music full of character, and at times and surprisingly , extremely beautiful.
Final Thoughts
With most of the technical problems of Unity solved, while maintaining some others bugs and glitches still, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is a good game in all sections , but a few months extra development would come in handy to release a more complete product. Also there are some mechanics, such as the combat system which never quite hit the mark. As for story starts good but losing it’s ability to surprise due it’s mission design. But if you have not yet tired of this franchise and interested in it’s atmosphere, we assure you that you will not regret it, it’s a really entertaining action adventure, artistically very neat and loaded with fair amount of content.
Most gamers are pretty distant to Syndicate after what happened with Unity last year, fear not that it is not the case this time, Assassins Creed Syndicate comes to surprise you positively, so give it a chance, which it truly deserves.
