Wednesday was the day Cologne put a controller in your hand. Trade and media hit Koelnmesse. Xbox went live from Hall 7 at 7:00am PT (10:00am ET, 4:00pm CEST) on official Xbox YouTube and Twitch. The floor opened. Tuesday was the living-room show. This was the morning the queues started to mean something.
We are hyped. A disc that becomes a license. A green anniversary box with a number on it. Fable finally naming the spells. Central Park getting a title. A reactor demo with a Spring 2027 stamp. That is a trade day you stay up for, and it is why Thursday’s public doors will feel like the second half of the same argument.
If you only had a couch, you still got the booth stream. The official Xbox VOD is above, from the Xbox channel. We already posted the how-to-watch for Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00am PT. Hall 7, A-0.61. Twenty-five playable games. One hundred forty stations. Xbox is treating Cologne like a 25-year birthday. I am not adding a stream title Xbox did not print.
Playground still put Fable’s first public gameplay theater on that stage. The Coalition still has the E-Day campaign in the room, ahead of October 6. 4A is still under Moscow for Metro 2039 in February 2027. Those names were already on the July 28 Wire and on our Xbox page. I am leaving the rest of the rundown there.
Xbox let Insiders turn discs digital starting August 31, the Disc to Digital test Jason Ronald put on the Wire. The Series X25 collection takes public preorders Thursday at 7:00am PT for $899.99, launching November 13. Playground’s Fable combat demo named the kit and locked February 23, 2027.
Ubisoft titled The Division 2’s Echoes of Central Park, full reveal September 24. Rebellion dated Alien Deathstorm for Spring 2027 and put the Reactor mission on the floor. Konami’s Townfall booth is still Hall 07.1 through August 30, same note as the August 19 gameplay page. CD PROJEKT RED is still running Songs of the Past in business Hall 4.2 and entertainment Hall 8.1, the rooms on the July 21 first-look page. Bandai Namco is Hall 6.1 with Ace Combat 8, Xenoverse 3, and Dawnwalker.
The Xbox broadcast runs again Thursday, August 27, at 7:00am PT (10:00am ET, 4:00pm CEST). Same clock. Same official Xbox YouTube and Twitch. Public days are August 27 through 30. Public booth hours start Thursday at 10:00am CEST and run to 8:00pm CEST, the same window Friday, then 9:00am to 8:00pm CEST Saturday and Sunday. Xbox FanFest is Wednesday night at the booth, 8:00pm to 11:00pm CEST, which is 11:00am to 2:00pm PT if you are watching from the West Coast and wondering why Hall 7 is still loud after the trade day. Those hours are already on our Xbox how-to-watch page and on the July 28 Wire.
Tuesday’s file is the Opening Night Live recap. Official social is @gamescom, the official gamescom YouTube, and @Xbox. We will be back.
