Star Wars Battlefront Review

Due to the pace of the game on certain maps it can happen that you die several times in a row, which can be less motivating, but the fun level will surpass that feeling. The vehicles that you can use and fly around almost seem like a waste since it is extremely difficult to hit a moving subject on the map.

There is also the 40 player Supremacy, which is equivalent to the Conquest mode in the Battlefield series, just a bit more simplified. There are five control points on the map and both teams compete to conquer them for 10 minutes. Both teams will start with one control point and will have to conquer all other checkpoints. This game mode is full of action and extremely fun.

During these game modes you will be able to unlock heroes and villains, which you need to collect items to unlock that appear on the map. Each of these will have their own attacking and will be equipped with their own special abilities. There is Luke Skywalker who is known for being fast with his lightsaber, Han Solo known row his special shots and the long distance and melee. The Princess Leia can generate a protective shield. Darth Vader who is more of a slower character but has the power to choke with a force and throw a sword. There is also the Emperor Palpatine who has a lighting and Boba Fee, who can launch missiles and has a jetpack, which you most likely will very much enjoy while using the flamethrower. All have their own strengths, but they are all enjoyable.

The four maps are quite large but seem very few. The addition of the fifth map, which is for free (Battle of Jakku) is quite refreshing. The design of the maps are complex and very detailed. If you are not enjoying the large crowds, you can join more classic games with fewer players in the lobby.

For example Pop is a classic team deathmatch with 20 players. There is Impact Zone, Cargo and Droid Capture which have lesser players to fight agains and are quite fun game modes.

Great

As far as I can remember, I've been surrounded by technology. My father bought us a Commodore 64 so I started playing games as a baby, following my passion with Amiga 500, then PC and so on. I love game related collectibles, and when I'm not collecting I review games, watch movies and TV Shows or you may catch me keeping a low profile at Game Events.
