Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Review

Treyarch returns with an action game filled with content that once again return to it's origins and an awesome multiplayer.

Graphics

The graphics of Black Ops III let us down a bit, we were expecting more from the third Call of Duty in the new generation of consoles. While the multiplayer mode is quite stable at 60fps, the campaign mode seems a step backwards compared to that seen last year, overall we felt that last year’s graphics were a bit better. Perhaps it is the price we pay to have the four-player cooperative included, but the fact is that this game has its ups and downs throughout the game visually. You will find that some parts look quite mesmerizing due to the excellent lighting, and some scenes that don’t even comparewith very poor textures.

It seems that Treyarch has not taken advantage of the full capacity of the new generation, perhaps trying to run the same graphics engine as previously. Surely we were expecting a bit more visually from a game of this caliber.

Black Ops makes an epic return

If something can praise of Call of Duty: Black Ops III is that it is an action game that with great content, while holding its ground as a high caliber game. Although we expected more visually, the game has convinced us with the game modes. We love how the game feels during gameplay and find the new innovations, such as the specialists etc very entertaining.

Black Ops III demonstrates its full potential in its excellent zombie mode that will delight lovers of this mode. You will find that its competitive outstanding multiplayer, is an absolute attention grabber. Treyarch definitely found the key to success when it comes to this game mode. These game modes are frantic, fun and addictive more than ever. If you have played Call of Duty in the past, you will definitely enjoy this new release. We can definitely say that this is one of the better ones in the series of Call of Duty. Have fun playing it!

Good

  • Great Multiplayer is as fun as Black Ops II, with addition of Specialists
  • Zombies mode is now bigger and better
  • Specialist class rewards players with different playstyles

Bad

  • Graphics could have been better, not that it's bad but comparing to last year no visible improvements
  • Campaign mode feels repetitive after certain point and the Cybercore powers could have implemented better.

Great

As far as I can remember, I've been surrounded by technology. My father bought us a Commodore 64 so I started playing games as a baby, following my passion with Amiga 500, then PC and so on. I love game related collectibles, and when I'm not collecting I review games, watch movies and TV Shows or you may catch me keeping a low profile at Game Events.
