The successful management simulator comes to consoles and its proposal is addictive.

Prison Architect comes with a huge community support in the form of levels designed by players. There are some amazing levels such as interior reminiscent of the Enterprise of Star Trek to The Walking Dead. You can also upload your creations and unleash a massive exchange of prisons which will greatly increase the hours and entertainment possibilities of a comprehensive title.

When a PC format makes the leap to video games consoles, we always wonder how the control interface with mouse and keyboard works with the gamepad. Recently months and we had seen very good attempts in this regard; it is noteworthy that Prison Architect offers a comfortable and intelligent controls both on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, even presenting a series of well – assorted shortcuts, as modules prefabricated building or distribution buttons more than commendable. It works at all levels; you won’t miss your keyboard mouse combo.

As for the visual design, Prison Architect presents a style halfway between cartoonish and comic aesthetics, which is of particular importance in the sequences of the campaign mode when using vignetting, we tell some of the harsh stories ingrown by prisoners. However, we talk about a rough game, sometimes difficult to digest, especially when we are in times of special crudity as riots or assaults among prisoners.

Final Thoughts

Prison Architect is a management game as deep as intelligent, able to interfere in the most varied moral dilemmas as you try to manage a virtual prison. Its possibilities are immense, and given its varied game modes -as well as the ability to enjoy and share with the community levels, we believe it is a whole value to consider regarding replayability short and long term.

Double11 and Introversion have taken a step further, offering a title console provides several dramatic and tangible simulation layers, presenting the same a new perspective to a genre that seemed almost showing us all on a platform like PC.  If you like what you read, you should get this game!

Great

As far as I can remember, I've been surrounded by technology. My father bought us a Commodore 64 so I started playing games as a baby, following my passion with Amiga 500, then PC and so on. I love game related collectibles, and when I'm not collecting I review games, watch movies and TV Shows or you may catch me keeping a low profile at Game Events.
