Titanfall Review

Spectacular, addictive, frantic and unpredictable... a new generation shooter without reinventing the genre yet feels fresh and original, and shows that developers can still innovate in multiplayer action.

But when you start to use and take advantage of everything it offers Titanfall when you start to really enjoy it when you see how well they fit all the pieces, and the natural and fun is the game experience, that in exchange for very little – It is very accessible, control is impeccably provides plenty, tons of fun and vice mainly. And and what we already seems to square the circle, we believe it is a multiplayer action game from able to meet the most experienced even the most novice player , or even why not say, awkward.

You always find some satisfaction in starting to Titanfall , even those that you’ve played worse. It is full of challenges that unlock equipment and require that we carry out a number of times each and every one of the actions or deeds that hides the game, give us experience points absolutely for everything we do, farfetched as it sounds, is level rises fairly quickly, regardless of all this is very rare a game in which we have not done something entirely satisfactory.

Burst clear a soldier in the air with a Titan, run by a wall, jump and in the air kill an enemy, jump on a Titan and destroy the back after having goaded a while doing parkour , crush countless minions in a crazy run low, get revenge on those who have destroyed your Titan with a nuclear blast that thunders everything around you, kill someone from a zip line, go ejected Titan and fall on a hillside from which you make a … carnage could be lines and lines listing the endless satisfactions that can produce a game to Titanfall a game that simply move around their scenarios is nice with short games-about 10 minutes-and always fun.

There are three classes of pilots and three of the Titans , although this is not too important, because soon we can customize both the characters as the Titans at will . A main weapon, with all kinds of guns, rifles and a shotgun, appropriate anti-Titan weapon to do much damage but unhelpful huge robots against soldiers, a secondary weapon gun type, we will not use much, a tactical skill -hacerte invisible move faster or radar pulse for a few seconds shows the enemies through the walls, an object of artillery – various types of grenades and mines-and two pieces of equipment, a kind of perks giving us all kinds of benefits, both passive and active: greater capacity of grenades, improved parkour , the tactical ability to recharge faster, the shield Titan last longer, show minion on the map, or accelerate Titán- arrival.

On the side of the Titans we have three different chassis, one balanced, a more resistant and slow, and finally the fastest but weak. We can equip a primary weapon -only there are six in total, a tactical skill -expulsar electric smoke damage and confuse enemies particles display a wall that shields us from the shooting, and the vortex shield, with which we can grab enemies projectiles in the air and devolvérselos-, a type of artillery or missiles, four available, and two kinds of perks , like recharging the fastest protective shield energy, pilots eject automatically when the Titan is about to It is destroyed, or very useful, a devastating nuclear explosion when the Titan is defeated.

Good

  • Level design is very good rather you're titan or on-foot soldier
  • Game mechanics are very well balanced, AI makes the maps live and full of action at all times
  • Great FPS experience, what fans have been craving for so long

Bad

  • No story mode is a bummer(not counting the campaign), at a $60 tag
  • Pilot selection screen could have customization
  • There a good number of maps but not so many game modes
8.5

Great

As far as I can remember, I've been surrounded by technology. My father bought us a Commodore 64 so I started playing games as a baby, following my passion with Amiga 500, then PC and so on. I love game related collectibles, and when I'm not collecting I review games, watch movies and TV Shows or you may catch me keeping a low profile at Game Events.
